McIntyre Farm - Coloured Glass

These coloured glass specimens represent several activities at the McIntyre homestead. Specific colours usually indicate a bottle's purpose. Dark blue was most often reserved for medicines or poisons, dark green and brown for spirits. Special shapes and colours, such as the few angular green sherds, might represent a gin case bottle.
