McIntyre Farm - Clear Glass

Clear and transparent glass is important for windows, represented here by a few flat fragments, and for storing contents that need to be seen. A few aqua sherds in this collection appear to be from sealers or preserve jars; the clear bottle likely contained a favourite beverage. The melted specimens (middle right) indicate a fire on the site.
