These household ceramics represent some common dishes ranging from the mid to late-19th Century: a burnt fragment whose glazes have been destroyed (top right); refined white earthenware including blue edgeware; painted and stamped underglaze plates; and the ever-popular white ironstone, one sample bearing a copper-lustre rim (top middle).
