Round Lake Shoreline - Coloured Glass

These various bits of coloured glass speak to wines, spirits and medicines. Most whisky bottles were brown, early gins were often moss green and angular, and wines most often green. Soda bottles were usually green or clear, and ales brown. Pinched little rectangular bottles with a mulberry tinge likely held medicinals. Colour protected the contents from sunlight.
