Egan Farm - Stove

Illustrated here are but a few of the many parts of a decorative three-legged cast iron stove likely used for both heating and cooking purposes.

The oval star-burst and trim on the stove door, though intricate, do not include or point to a maker's name. The curved legs fit into a slot in the base of the stove and are decorated with an animal foot with four toes. A portion of trim bears apparent lyres end-to-end and a rose motif.
